Practical Thoughts regarding travel

  1. I have learned to always take my own “environment” with me. I do not turn on TV sets in hotel rooms. I take my own videos that I know I will relax watching and lots of music with a Bose travel speaker. I therefore, have my own environment with me rather than exist in an environment that I may find uncomfortable.
  2. I have learned to take several Bibles with me. Travel is a good time to read long passages of Scriptures. It is a great time for study. I would almost never take a regular book to read. This is a great Bible time.
  3. When I travel, I work to maintain my spiritual habits. Daily devotions, Bible reading, prayer time, etc… all stay on schedule as much as possible. Once spiritual habits are broken, they must be re-created. It is much easier to maintain than to redevelop.
